Billy Blue College of Design 2023Brief: Rebrand a not for profit organization, small business or service in Melbourne.
Rebrand: Laverton Market
Rationale: The process of bringing the Laverton Flea (formally known as the Laverton Market) brand to life was one of continuous feedback, research and self directed learning. My touchpoints were carefully chosen to help the market function. Posters were designed to reach the people of Laverton, but also promote the market as a vibrant weekend attraction to the whole of Melbourne. Posters work on walls and as banners, but an electronic bus/tram stop poster can bring people from the inner suburbs to the market. Creating a statement website was almost an extension of the poster, but allowed me to experiment with motion. Class feedback continuted to help me balance between creating an eye catching brand that is still functions as a vessel for communicating key information about the market. I adored bringing this rebrand to life and will continue to love and support local markets within Melbourne.
